Ok, as most of you may know by now..I have taken up cooking on a mule. So, I am in possession of a guide so awesome, that I can't even understand it yet...  I will be taking on the guide in my attempt to mass produce sushi...I'm hoping that this doesn't take a long time...no more than a month would be grand. Wish me luck. |

You should talk to ginger about making money. Honestly, sushi isn't too good unless u fish up the fish yourself. I only cook sushi to make my fish sell faster.

The mass production of sushi would be for me to be honest. I don't want to pay that much for Sole Sushi anymore.
And should be catching my own fish next week. I want to get my cooking skil up first. What I have noticed for gil production is mage food. Looking forward to that.

hmm i never sold many meat mithkabobs cuz i remember there was not a very big profit maring on them. of course that was when i was a noob cook and bought most of my ingreidents from ah >.< i think i have a bunch of stacks of these on mule lol.
anyway, where's this guide? i could prolly help u out on where to stray away from what they tell u to make lol. i used to use a guide, but the one i looked at told u to make a lot of pet items and weird crap i never saw anyone use at first. the stuff sold bad on ah and really low to npc. i don't even use a guide now i just look on alla for stuff that caps about 4-6 lvls above my current lvl that either a) i can use b) toon can use or c) i can sell quickly for a profit.
i do need help on something to make for good profit around 64. right now i'm doing yag drinks. they sell fast for about 1.5k profit each, but i want more lol. ok maybe i'm just being greedy, let me know.

about the lvling recipes ali.. there aren't really any profit items you can make at 64. You kind of have to sink some gil into crafting coloured eggs (fire crystal, la theine cabbage, sandy carrot, distilled water, bird/lizard egg) which caps at 66 for lizard or 68 for bird. It really isn't that expensive though, so you don't lose much. I'm going to try to make pear au lait which caps at 72. I think i can make some profit off it, but I don't know how quickly they sell. But really.. crafting is fun when you can skillup while making gil, and cooking is really the only craft you can do that with hehe.

The guide that I have isn't a leveling guide, but an ingredient, stat, where to find/buy, kind of thing, called "The Chef's Apron", and was put together by a guy on Valefor. It is the third version of this guide, and the most comprehensive guide I've ever seen for something like this. lately i've been just doing yag drinks for profit. not that much each but they sell fast. i'm not really leveling cooking atm cuz i'm trying to stockpile gp before i go up in rank anymore. i'm sitting at 11k atm  |
