I didn't have much time to post origionally but I just wanted to add that we could really use anyone and everyone's help on 9-1. This will be a pretty tough fight since it is typically done with BLM and not melee but I think we can do it, we just need more people to ensure sucess.

yep. our schools arnt the same lol. you gotta write 4 compulsory subjects. after that you can choose as many extra subjects as you want. on your final (third) year you have 2 chances to write a subject, one in september and one in february-march (next year). you graduate in late spring. you can write as many subjects at a time as you want, but its really hard if you're gonna write all of those 4 subjects at one time. in each language exam (cept for your mothertongue, where you only write 2 essays, 400-500 words) there's 3 parts, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and an essay (varies, 150-250 words usually). the maths and physics exams both have 15 questions and you gotta answer 10. chemistry has 10 and you gotta answer 8. biology/geography/philosophy etc. have about 8 q:s each and u gotta answer 5-6. my compulsory subjects are marked with a yellow number. the blue ones im gonna write this fall (september), and the red ones spring 2008. compulsory subjects are (gotta choose 4/6): 1) maths ( long/short) 2) mothertongue ( finnish/swedish) 3) second language (finnish/ swedish) 4) third language ( english/german) 5) forth language (short english/ short german/short french) 6) geography/biology/ physics/chemistry/history/philosophy/psychology etc. *rant rant* hope that shed some light on you

That sucks to have to go into the military... i would hate that >< does everyone have to or is it a lottery sort of a thing?
i also might not be so apposed to the militarty if i had a leader that wouldn't randomly go to war with people. if everyone in power had their kids in the military it might make them a little more cautious before going to war.

yeah it is a must, we dont have a professional army like the USA. every guy that's 18 has to go to the army, cept for if you're disbled in some way, have some decease or have some special reason why you cant join.
we only got a bit over 5mil ppl here so we wouldnt survive with a professional army, even tho i doubt there'll be any war here. i guess its just an old custom that everyone's used to and afraid to object to

to be honest im sure 70% (inc. me) of the people going dont have the required physical endurance. during your time there, though, it will go up quickly. sure the first few weeks you're gonna feel a lot of pain but after that im sure its not too bad. atleast its a good way to get young people moving more lol

lol yea still i could prob never survive in teh military, even tho with alot of the toys (Read: awesome weapons lol) it almost makes me want to join cause it would seem like so much fun XD u know the germans developed a kind of artillery that is capable of fireing 10 rounds a minute and can fire so that 5 rounds hit the same area at about the same time. AND get from a fireing position to a moving possiton in bout 30 seconds lol leave it to germans to make something fast and powerfull XD Still think tehy should b in this war against terror :/

best for no one to be in this 'war' against 'terror'. freaking good god people need to go to war with outher people not concepts. i can understand if a country was responsible for aiding terrorists, then go to war with them because they are threatening us. i can get that. but just a general war against anyone, thats just plain stupid. are we gonna order a freaking air strike against LA if we find a terrorist there? at least they could have named it something more accurate 'war on oil' would be more fitting.
Look at the 'War on drugs'. How well did that work? You can't just go to war with abstract concepts you need someone to be fighting. Hell the USA was founded by 'terrorists' its just plain silly to be at war with all terrorists. We are at war with 'terrorists' that keep oil from us. I mean no one in Iraq was even involved in terrorist attacks against the US before we decided to invade them.
Blah I hate our current government.
