OK, well I figured I would start this thread for all the members who have been doing BCNMs recently. this can be a place for everyone to share what they know about the different BCNMs and how the were able/unable to win, and special hints or tips for new people to the BCNMs.

at one point i spent a lot of my seals on BCNM40 "Royal Jelly". in this BCNM there were a lot of small jellies on the sides of the BC, that slowly moved closer to the center. if they got to the center they would change to one bid badass jelly. i did this BCNM with 1x rdm and 2x rng, as rdm i would bind & gravity the jellies, while the rangers took them out one by one. i think this is one of the reasons why erase(dropped from 800k to 600k) and utsusemi:ni(dropped from 1mil to 700k) dropped in price, cuz it was so easy, once we got three utsusemis to drop in a row. anyways i thought it was a good and easy way to make money at one point, so it's worth a try if you are a rdm or a rng.

Well the only BCNM that I have much experience with is BCNM 20 "Wings of Fury" at Ghelsba Outpost. Me and my cousin Bendak have done this BCNM several times and have had some success, 3 Astral Rings in about 20 runs. Are party setup is 2x Bst/Whm 20's we have been able to kill the bats without using Bst 2hr but we have found it to be much easier if 1 of us use there 2hr each fight. Items we take include Melon juice for mp regen and Pear Au Laits for hp regen, and 2-3 hi-potions for emergencies. Now for food to eat we used either Flint Caviar HP:10 MP:10 Dex:4 Mnd:-1 Chr:4 cost 18,00 per stack or Tuna Sushi HP:20 Dex:3 Chr:5 ACC:15% R.Acc:15% Resist Sleep cost 22,000 a stack NOTE: These were the price on Jeuno AH when I wrote this. Our attack plan would go something like this Bendak trades the orb to start the BCNM after we enter cast protects then wide scan Bendak would track the Furies to the left and I would track the Furies on the right this would allow us to go after different bats and to use a macro of (/ja Charm <scan>) this would throw a charm at the Furies we were tracking and not have to worry about targeting them. Once Bendak had charmed his target he would 2hr and send them against Colo-Colo and I would just use regular charms and send my target after Colo-Colo. Bendak's Furies would keep Colo busy until they died but since mine would uncharm they would live longer. Once Bendak's Furies were dead both of us could keep my Furies charmed and attacking Colo which should be dead soon leaving only my Furies (very hurt) left to deal with. Melee the last Furies till there dead and your done. HINT #1: While both Furies are charmed and fighting Colo-Colo move as far away as possible and rest HP and MP, also while resting this reduces your Pets TP so you wont be hit as hard by there special moves. Hint #2: Try not to use any Cure spells while near to any of the Bats as this will generate hate. Move as far away as possible before casting any spells. Hint #3: If by some chance the Furies that have been 2hr'd live the Bst that has it charmed can click on the ? ? ? at the hut to exit the battle. Once he has left the bats will uncharm and the remain player/s can kill it to win the BCNM. Hint #4: Lightsday is the best day for charm results and Darksday is the worst day for charm results. OK now as I said before this is just the party format Bendak and I use to do this. There are many other party setups that can do this BCNM everyone feel free to post your party ideas and setups and if you have any other hints and tips please do post them for all of us to learn. Happy Hunting
