alright guys here's a little explanation on how the plugins work with the windower. first off make sure u have the windower (duh) www.windower.net/so now you got the windower folder open, looks something like this (my PC is finnish, meh): go to the 'plugin' folder (marked RED) and you will(should) find the following .dll files: IME, Distance, TParty, WinampPlugin and Bloodpace most windower versions will automatically load the TParty plugin, which displays each party members TP. if you want for example the Distance plugin to be loaded at FFXI launch, you should do the following: open the 'scripts' folder (marked GREEN), and then open the init file. ok now go down to the section where you see //load plugins... etc. etc. it will show you how to make plugins get activated at the start of FFXI, BUT, if you're too lazy and prefer to read this then ill explain it quickly. basically every plugin that you want to load at the start of FFXI, doesnt have a "//" before it. it says "Remove the // from plugins you want to have autoloaded" which means if you remove the // from the line //load Distance, then that plugin will be enabled when you lauch windower next time!! easy isnt it? you can also load plugins mid-play with simple commands in the windower console (red text thingy that appears when u log into ffxi). for example: load "TParty" => loads the TParty plugin. unload "TParty" => unloads the TParty plugin. if you want to learn more commands please read the 'commands' file (marked BLUE).
